Looking for Replacement Door Magnet Sensor for 2019 Entegra Esteem 29 Steps Won't Extend

Updated 03/03/2026 | Published 02/28/2026

Question:

I have a 2019 Entegra Esteem 29V. My steps have quit extending. I have been told it has to do with a magnet. Do you sell this magnet?

Hey Carl, we do sell the replacement door magnet sensors you are looking for which tell your power steps when you have the door open and closed.

We have two options for the magnets you may need. We have the part # LC301694 and # LC369299 with the difference being if the circuit needs to be open or closed. The # LC301694 is an open circuit that completes the circuit when the door is closed which tells the step's brain that it's time to retract the steps and the # LC369299 is a complete circuit that when opened tells the steps to retract.

Here's what you'll need to do to determine which magnets you need. Since your old magnets are getting removed take and cut them off and strip back the wiring that attaches to the one magnet. Touch those two wires together completing the circuit. If you then see the steps retract you need the # LC301694. Otherwise you need other set.
