Troubleshooting Curt Hitch Install on a 2014 Toyota Rav4, Brake Line Interference

Question:

Im looking for a hitch that will fit a 2014 Toyota Rav4. The Curt model 13149 that is advertised to fit do NOT. Its for a 2012 or older version. Toyota made major model change in 2013. When I tried to install a Curt 13149 the mount bracket hit the brake line hardware and the bolt holes werent in the right location. When I held it up in position the receiver was recessed ~6inch from front of bumper...didnt work out. Do you folks offer a hitch that is guaranteed to fit the 2014 Toyota Rav4 prefer 2inch receiver. We had the chance to install the Curt Hitch part # C13149 that you referenced on a 2013 Toyota RAV4 that is the same generation as your 2014 model and we found that it fit just fine. I wonder if maybe you tried to use the wrong attachment points on the frame and that is why you had interference with your brake line.
