I need to replace my Curt Rota-Flex 24,000lbs, 6,000lbs max pin weight on my 2024 Jayco Seismic. Will the Curt Helux Shock-Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert Rhino - 24K GTW - 6,000 lbs TW Part Number: C83RJinch fit?

Hey, Todd.

Thanks for sending in the pictures. I reached out to Lippert to confirm which pin box your Jayco is using, and they let me know that your camper is a Rhino Box bolt pattern so the Curt Helux pin box, part # C83RJ, will be a perfect fit.

2024 was the year Rhino Box really started becoming the norm for pin box bolt patterns, but I completely understand wanting to double check since the 1621 was used for so many years. It’s always better to confirm and make sure everything is right the first time.

I also checked your Jayco’s GVWR, and it ranges from 16,500 lbs to 20,695 lbs depending on the sub-model. The Helux you’re looking at has a pin weight range of 3,290 lbs to 6,000 lbs. Using the rule of thumb of 22–25% of GVWR to estimate pin weight, this puts you within range, so it’s a great fit from a weight standpoint as well.

I hosted a training on the Helux and really liked it, I'm confident that you are going to have a smoother ride compared to the Rota-Flex.
