Question:

I have a curt 18065 5 bike hitch mount rack that lost the pin that prevents the rack from pivoting backward. The pin is about 1/2inch and attacked to a wire strap so it stay attached to the rack. Tried attaching photo but wouldnt upload I managed to un-attach it despite this and cannot find out anywhere. Do you sell a replacement? Thanks!

Hello Jeremy, thanks for reaching out. We can definitely provide a 1/2" diameter pin to replace the tilt pin on your Curt # C18065 bike rack, but it wouldn't be a direct replacement. Curt does not offer that exact pin with the attached tether as a standalone replacement.

That said, the Curt Clevis Pin # C45805 is a great fit for the application. It is the correct 1/2 inch diameter and includes a large grip handle, which makes it easy to remove when you need to tilt the rack.

The only difference is that it does not come with the factory style wire strap. If you would like to keep it tethered to the rack, you could add a small lanyard or cable tether attached to the handle to prevent it from getting misplaced again.
