Question:
We own a 2017 Airstream 23’ Flying Cloud and are very interested in obtaining a remote traailer valet to deal with maneuving the trailer into and out of o ur garage. The hitch weight is 467 lbs, Unit base weight is 4806 lbs. Max traile capacity is 6000 lbs. This means that depending on whether or not we are traveling with a full water tank and various insundries, the actual weight will be somewhere between 4806 and 6000 lbs. We really like the look and characteristics of the Trailer Valet rvr 5500. Will that be satisfactory for our trailer weight dimensions?ThanksChip Southerland

Hey Chip, so the Trailer Valet RVR5 Remote-Controlled Trailer Dolly # TVRVR5 would work great if the trailer would weigh less than 5,500 lb. But if it's going to be over that and up to 6k instead you'd need to bump up to the RVR9 part # TVRVR9 which is rated for up to 9,000 lbs.
