Legs Needed to Convert Curt A20 From Ford Puck System to 2026 GMC Sierra 2500 Puck System

Question:
Good morning, I have Ford OEM puck system and a Curt A20 fixed leg 5th wheel hitch. If I get a GM 2026 truck with the OEM puck system, what is the leg kit I need? Is there anything else I need? Thanks, Chris

Hey Chris! To move your Curt A20 over to the 2026 Sierra 2500 you need the Curt OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Legs for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # CU53FR. You won't need anything else aside from the A20 head you already have.
Where are you headed once you get your Sierra set up for towing?

I had the puck system on a 2016 GMC 3500 when I got my 2023 i found GM had changed the frame width narrower. I order the new legs and they worked great on my curt 25 hitch. You should be able to order the proper legs for your hitch. They are easy to change. Hope this helps you.

Curt towing accessories are the best hands down. I’ve done the leg conversion for my fifth wheel hitch and it’s straightforward. Unbolt the old legs add your new ones. That’s simple I did it alone and took maybe 20 minutes.

Went from a rail system on my 2019 3500HD with a Curt A20 hitch to a puck system on my 2024 3500HD. Purchased the Curt OEM 5th wheel hitch legs and was not disappointed! Fast delivery, excellent instructions and the puck system is far better than the rails. Would recommend 10/10!

I have a 2024 2500hd Denali ultimate and I added the CU53FR legs to my curt A16 fifth wheel hitch and they work great. No issues and very happy with the overall setup.
