Will Air Bag Kit for 2021 Newman 3014 F-53 Chassis Improve Ride Quality

Updated 02/09/2026 | Published 01/29/2026

Question:

I have a 2021 newman 3014 f53 chassis. I plane to add front and rear. al57344 , al88240. The jounce springs are touching front and rear at the moment and I think my ride is rough as a result. by removing the front jounce as stated in the instructions, will I get a smoother ride and not so much feel every bump in the road by installing these??

Hey Mark, yes you will get a smoother ride quality with the front and rear Air Lift air bag kits part # al57344 and # al88240 because the jounce spring will be removed like you mentioned and also because you'll be able to use the air pressure in the bags to dial in exactly as much support as you want. Are you wanting a compressor kit too? This will allow you to control the air pressure in both the front and back if you get a dual path setup like the # AL58WQ.

@Mark For that you would want the Air Lift part # AL27DQ which comes with a 2 gallon tank and also is dual path.

I am extremely satisfied with the Air Lift airbags I installed 9n the rear axel of my 2013 Bounder 33C. My coach was low in the rear. My first upgrade were Timbren jounce blocks, which did nothing for lift. Then I installed the Airbags and they work like a champ! Highly recommend.

Product made a big difference in the ride, and also leveling the Motor home that had a bad lean to the drivers side. l am pleased with results.Wished I had installed them sooner.
