Hi BO; are you using two gas struts underneath the mattress to lift it? Assuming you are, the # 372-2300-120 with a force of 120 lbs is too much. You want to use the Gas Shock - 60 lb Force - 20" Extended, 11.41" Compressed - Black Nitride # 372-5300-60 instead, definitely no more than the 90 lb # 372-2300-90.

Hey BO, how did things turn out with the 60‑lb gas shocks under your mattress? Did they give you the right lift and balance for that 120‑lb setup? Your update could make it easier for the next person working on a similar bed lift.
