Question:
What size wrench do you need to tighten?

Hey Phil! You will need a 5/8" wrench/socket to tighten the Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin for 2" Trailer Hitches # SHP2061. Keep in mind, this is only compatible with ball mounts and accessories that have a hollow shank. If you're using something with a solid shank you need an anti-rattle like # e38FV instead.
What will you be using this with?

I found this pin a bit cumbersome to deal with while working over a basket carrier. I don't feel it works as well as the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches - Vinyl Coated Steel Part Number: e99007

I have the anti-rattle pin shown above and a locking anti-rattle hitch. I have used both with good success on my RAV4 with a cargo carrier - all purchased from eTrailer. On my pins, the NON-locking pin (pictured above) requires a 7/8 wrench/socket and the locking pin (not shown) is 5/8.
