Question:
Could I put two of these 45inch latches on my rear double doors for more holding strength, or should I just stick with one longer one?

Miguel, you could definitely run two 45 inch latches # M343FR - one on each door - if you want extra clamping force. It's definitely not necessary though, so it's really up to you. That said, most double rear doors are tall enough that a 55 inch latch # M363FR is the more typical route. If your doors are shorter under 5 feet, the 45s make sense and won’t look out of place.
Do you haul heavier gear that makes you want the extra strength?
And for other haulers, did you ever double up smaller latches instead of using a single tall one?
