Will Convert-A-Ball Weight Distribution Shank # AMAC1 Fit a Husky Weight Distribution System
Updated 06/30/2014 | Published 06/29/2014 >
Question:
I need to lower the hitch height while pulling my 2009 Forest River Salem camper. I recently purchased a Ram 2500 4x4. I use to pull with a 2005 Ford F150. I have a Husky weight distribution hitch that is lowered as far as it will go on the shank. I need 2 to 3 more inches...Will this work with the Husky hitch? I am about to pull my camper 1400 miles round trip and want to make sure the camper is level while towing.

Husky is the one brand that I know of that has at least 2 different shanks with different sizes as far as the hole diameter goes. You have to measure your existing shank to determine if # AMAC1 will fit. The vertical part of the # AMAC1 is 2 inches square. The holes are 1-1/4 inches apart on center. And the holes are 3/4 inches in diameter.
