Can 14-Ply Tire Be Installed on Wheel with Current 10-Ply Tire

Question:

Can I put a 235/80R16 14 ply tire on the same size 10 ply tire rim if I change out valve stems?

As long as your wheel doesn't have a specific weight rating listed you can just upgrade your valve stem to a metal one like the Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem # AM20906 and it will hold up just fine, yes. Most wheels can handle the weight rating of any tire that fits on it, but it's always good to double check just to be on the safe side of things.
