Hey Donald,
The TecNiq mini clearance light # TN96MR is a DOT approved and compliant light. It meets and passes all FMVSS standards. All the trailer lights and clearance lights we carry meet those standards so you won't have to worry with this one.
What kind of trailer are you looking to install these on?

Yes they are DOT compliant. They are also bright, durable and energy efficient. I just drove my trailer from Baltimore to Port St Lucie Florida and back. I’m very pleased with all my purchases.
