Question:
My RV currently has a WFCO WF-8945 power center. If I’m already pulling it out, is there any reason not to upgrade instead of doing a straight swap?

Paul, the PowerMax # PM47VR is the exact spec replacement for the WFCO WF-8945, keeping the same 30-amp service and 45-amp DC charging/load capacity.
However, many people take that opportunity to step up to the PowerMax # PM67VR, which fits the same style opening but increases the DC converter output to 55 amps. That extra charging 10A capacity can help if you’ve added bigger batteries or noticed slow charging times, while still keeping everything within a 30-amp power center.
Both options are full AC/DC power centers - the difference is whether you want to stay original or upgrade while you’re already in there. You wont have to upgrade the electrical system on your RV when switching to the higher amp model. Let me know what you decide!
