If your 2013 Dodge Durango came with a factory installed 7-way trailer connector, then you can use the Tekonsha Brake Control Wiring Adapter, # TK93VR, to connect the Primus IQ Brake Controller, # TK90160. The factor brake controller port on your Durango should be located to the left of the emergency brake pedal taped to another harness. I have attached installation instructions for you to check out.
If your Durango does not have the factory 7-way trailer connector, then you will not be able to use a plug-in style wiring adapter for the brake controller. A 7-way trailer connector will have to be installed on the vehicle and the brake controller will have to be hardwired.
To install a brake controller, you will need our Universal 4-Way and 7-Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7, and possibly a 4-way trailer connector, like part # 118552, if you do not already have the factory 4-way trailer connector. I have attached installation instructions for both wiring kits for you to check out. I have also attached an installation video for the universal kit # ETBC7 on a Chrysler Aspen to give you an idea of how the kit is installed and how to wire the brake controller. The installation will be very similar to your Durango.
