Id like to upgrade the OEM supplied solid Dexter 13-122 equalizers on my GD 2400BH travel trailer. What are my options?

Hey Paul, thanks for the information! The Dexter 13-122 are 7-3/4" long so the best replacement for them is going to be the E-Z Flex Equalizers item # K71-655-00. They have a a rubber core that absorbs road shock, reduces chassis stress, and minimizes chucking.

When you swap out your equalizers you'll also need to replace the suspension bolts as they are only meant to be torqued down upon initial installation. I recommend the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers item # MR46ZR is for 2-1/4" shackles or item # MR76ZR is for 3-1/8" shackles. These kits come with the bronze bushings, wet bolts and shackle straps.

You'll want to pick a kit with the closest size to your current shackle straps.

While you have your suspension taken apart are you interested in replacing your leaf springs? I would just need to know the distance between the mounting bolts on one of them with the weight off of the trailer along with the number of leafs. Or a part number if you can find one.

You can add this information, along with any other questions you have, where it says Reply to Jerred H.
