Thanks for your question, Jay!

Finding the right goosebox depends on what you have currently. The pictures you sent doesn't give us all the information needed to find the right one. I see you were looking at one of Gen-Y's 1621 hitch shock absorbing 5th wheel to gooseneck pin box's, part # GY38FR.

Below is a picture of where the pin box sticker is located. This number pretty much tells you what bolt pattern it is. In order for the pin box's shock absorption to work correctly, we need to know what your fully loaded pin weight is on your 5th wheel. Pin weight is the downward force the 5th wheel will put on your truck. If the weight isn't with in the rage for the box, the shock absorption wont work properly.

For example, pin box part # GY95GR is rated for pin weight between 4,500 lbs - 6,500 lbs. Pin box part # GY38FR that I mentioned earlier has a rage of 2,500 lbs - 4,500 lbs.

I've included a link below that has some additional information about pin boxes.

I have it mounted on my arctic fox. it is improved the chalking that I was getting out of the box with the rotary head that I was using mounted to my Anderson hitch that I was using at the time. It also smooth the ride over the bumpy roads here in Wyoming. The only challenge I have with mine is that while hitching up you have to be perfectly aligned. Would recommend on any newer models if they incorporated some kind of a taper or funnel to slide over the ball easier. All in all very satisfied.

@Jerry Thanks for sharing your experience with the pin box, Jerry. A lot of people ask about compatibility with Anderson's so It's good to know it works well with the Anderson.
