Looking For A Hitch For My 2021 Ford E-450 Cutaway Chassis

Updated 01/02/2026 | Published 12/28/2025

Question:

Im looking for a hitch like this that will fit a 2021 Ford E-450 cutaway chassis. The 2021 Coach House Motorhome 272XL came with a 7500 lb tow rating and a hitch only rated for 200lbs of vertical load. Id like to trailer our 25 Ford Maverick and 24 Can Am Ryker trike. Total load is estimated at 4500lbs excluding any trailer. We are looking at aluminum trailers due to their lighter dry weight. Any suggestions?

Hey David,

We do not have a confirmed fit hitch for your 2021 Ford E-450 Cutaway. You would need to get a universal fit hitch to match your frame width in order to install. If you want to let me know what your frame width is I can find a good option for you and what you will be towing.

This hitch fit on the front of our 2022 F450 C class. We use it for our electric bike rack.

I purchased this hitch and mounted it to the front of the RV. Uncomplicated and I only had to trim a very small section in the plastic grill. I then added a front hitch and carrier that I loaded down with my generator, toolbox and fuel cans. Worked great!

I bought this a couple of years ago and have had no issue. I have installed on a 2021 Ford E350 cutaway Thor Chateau 26B. I used for an ebike and small regular bike. Very easy install. I did have to cut away a middle portion.

I installed this on my 2025 Sunseeker E450motorhome to provide a connection point to my motorhome in case we get stuck at the sand dunes and need to be pulled out. So far I have not needed to use it but if the need arises I will be ready. Install was straight forward and took about two hours to install. Quality appears to be top notch. A good value for the money. The part that took the most time was measuring and cutting the plastic fascia to accommodate the hitch. I took my time because I wanted a perfect fit.
