Will Redarc Tow Pro Liberty Display Info on Dash of 2019 Ford F-150

Question:
2019 F150 with tow package and aftermarket controller that doesnt work properly. The comp sees the controller and the manual works but doesnt engage when brake applies. Set up with ForScan. Will the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty be visible with the dash info screen? Trailer attached, brake amount, etc. Thanks

Hey Daryn, the Redarc Liberty part # RED67CR that you referenced does not have ability to communicate at all with the dash info screen of your truck. Sometimes with a brake controller only works with the manual override lever the issue is actually that the third brake light fuse on the truck is blown so I would check that.

The controller is a stand alone unit, it does not interface with the factory dash display, I installed it in a 2017 Lincoln Navigator, the model specific wiring harness plugged directly into the vehicles harness that I found under the dash near the steering column. I decided to mount the control knob in a convenient location that looked like where the factory would place it. The controller was placed behind the dash panel using Velcro to mount it. The controller works just fine, I am able to modulate the amount of trailer brake depending on load and terrain.
