Question:
How can I still add surge protection? 2024 27foot Airstream Flying Cloud

Expert Reply:
Hey Rick. It looks like you purchased the SmartPlug RV Power Cord Adapter item # SM93VR a couple of weeks back. If your Airstream Flying Cloud has the SmartPlug 50 amp connector you'll need to install the Power Watchdog Surge Protector with Bluetooth, WiFi, and Emergency Shut Down item # HU82VR.
The Power Watchdog item # HU82VR will be hardwired inside your RV and will provide you with the same protection the plug in ones like item # HU62VR do.
If you have any additional questions, go ahead and click on the box that says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.
