The Giant Talon 27.5.1 trail bike has a slanted top frame tube which means that transporting it on a hanging style bike carrier like the Thule Gateway Pro 3 # TH78VR will be made simpler and safer by use of an adapter bar like Thule's # TH982XT. The adapter bar connects between the seat and handlebar posts to provide a level mounting surface to mate with the carrier's arms. This will help keep the bike level to maintain safe ground clearance at the wheels. Please refer to the linked video.
