Comes on and then go off.why

Hey Paul, thanks for reaching out. The Go Power remote # 34279999 usually turns on and then shuts off because the inverter is dropping into a protection mode. The most common cause is low battery voltage. The inverter tries to start, the voltage sags, and it shuts itself down to protect the battery. A loose remote cable, a damaged RJ connection, or undersized battery cables can also interrupt power long enough to make the remote flick on and off. Checking battery voltage under load and making sure all wiring is tight and properly sized often solves it.
The other possibility is that the inverter is already in a fault condition, such as overload, short circuit, or over-temperature. When that happens, the remote wakes up, sees the fault, and shuts right back down. Looking directly at the inverter’s LEDs can reveal a fault code even when the remote won’t stay on. If everything checks out but the issue continues, the inverter may have an internal fault.
