Maxxfan 4900N not working. Replaced motor still not working, trying to work motor starts and then stops. Has power but wont go up or down. Thinking its the control board.

Hello Paul, thanks for reaching out. If the new motor didn't fix the problem, that definitely points to the circuit board being the culprit. Replacing the circuit board on the MaxxFan 4900N is slightly problematic though. MaxxFan lists the correct replacement as part 10-21275N but sadly this is not something we carry here. Looking around elsewhere online, it does not appear to be readily available.
For that reason, the best solution I can offer at this point will be to replace the entire vent assembly. A great option for that is the following:
- MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Manual Lift - 10 Speed - White # MA00-04000K
