Hello David,

I am sorry but we do not have an install video at this time. Here is a break down on how to install, if you do not feel like doing the install yourself, I did attach our Dealer Locator if you want to pay someone to get the job done.

To install a GE Profile # GE87VR dishwasher in a Grand Design Solitude, start by confirming that the dishwasher-prep opening is the correct size, usually around 18 inches wide, 32½ inches tall, and 24 inches deep. Make sure the door can open without hitting anything. Inside the island, locate the dedicated 120-volt outlet or junction box, the capped hot-water PEX line, and either the dedicated dishwasher drain line or the connection point under the sink.

Turn off the RV water pump and city water supply. Prepare the dishwasher by installing the 90-degree elbow on its water inlet and attaching a 3/8-inch supply line. Remove the cap from the hot-water PEX line, add a shutoff valve if needed, install a PEX-to-compression adapter, and connect the dishwasher’s supply line. Turn the water back on and check for leaks.

Connect the dishwasher drain hose by routing it upward in a high loop under the countertop, then attach it to either the RV’s dishwasher drain stub or a dishwasher tailpiece added to the sink drain. Make sure the hose isn’t kinked and doesn’t sag.

Slide the dishwasher partway into the opening while guiding the power cord, water line, and drain hose so they do not pinch. Level the dishwasher using the front legs, then secure it to the cabinet using the mounting brackets so it stays stable during travel.

Finish by plugging it into the 120-volt outlet or completing the hard-wire connection with the breaker off. Turn the breaker back on and run a short cycle to test for leaks and proper draining. Once everything checks out, close the cabinet area and periodically check the fittings and screws as part of regular RV upkeep.

@DavidS That sounds like great fun David, how was it? You are near Joshua Tree, my favorite! I went and spent Thanksgiving with my boyfriends family, it was a great day! I am kind of grateful that my oven went out 2 days prior, that way I got to buy the pies instead of making them, it was a nice year off and the new oven gets delivered tomorrow =) My Dad is a full time RVer following his retirement dreams, he is too bunkered down in Cali during the winter months visiting with my siblings, that is where I am originally from =)
