Updated 12/08/2025 | Published 11/25/2025 >
Question:
I have a jeep which has a 2 hitch but no place to attach the safety chains. Is there a system that can bolt on for the safety chains to hook up? Thanks Richard

Hi Richard; since there are no safety chain attachments on the hitch the only option is to weld-on the Safety Chain Loop for Trailer Hitch Receivers # E950. I'm sorry to say there are no bolt-on options available.

Hey Richard, were you able to weld on the safety chain loop for your Jeep’s hitch? Knowing how that worked out could help others who don’t have built-in chain attachments.
