Is There A Hitch For Adding Bike Rack To 2019 Honda CR-V?
Updated 11/26/2025 | Published 11/24/2025 >
Question:
I’ve got a 2019 Honda CR-V and need to haul my family’s bikes for weekend trips. Would this TowSmart hitch fit and be strong enough? I have a nice thule bike rack.

Yes it will, Jason - the TowSmart 2" hitch # TS67ZR fits 2017–2027 Honda CR-V models just not the Hybrid, so it’ll bolt right onto your 2019. The install is fully bolt-on, no drilling needed, and it’s strong enough to handle any 2 inch bike rack or cargo carrier rated for SUVs.
If you plan to tow in the future, grab the Wiring Harness # 118741 and the Ball Mount Kit # 989891, but for now you can use it right away with your bike rack.
How many bikes are you planning to haul - two adult bikes or a full family setup?

Thanks Andrew! We have a thule 4 bike rack. One last thing; does the install get in the way of the splash shield under the back of the CR-V? I’d like to keep that on if possible.
