I would like to know what tow ball works best with this hitch for 2 5/16 trailer. I would like it to be as heavy duty as the hitch.

Hello Dana, thanks for reaching out. A heavy-duty ball with a 1-1/4" shank is what you will need for that. I recommend the following:
- 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-1/2" Long Shank - Chrome - 16,000 lbs # BWHB94050
