Question:
I am looking at the 5 to 8K parking diesel heaters. my question is Would he auxiliary power and ground that’s in this cable. Would it carry enough power to power fan and glow plug a small diesel heater like that. OR, could you tell me the max amps/vokts/watts THIS cable will handle safely? the 12 volt supply just powers the fan and provides spark to the glow plug. i’m building a little travel trailer out of an enclosed cargo trailer. The diesel heater is primarily for my shop and has dual power- 110 and 12v and it is portable, Thanks for all your help and knowledge. I have really appreciate it over the years thank you very much.!

Hey Bert, the Bargman 7-way kit part # BA68HR that you referenced has 10 gauge wire for the power and ground circuits which means at 12 volt it can handle 40 amps. What's the amp rating of the heaters you are looking at?

There no where near that,, the 5-8k I think max draw is no more than 15 amps, as it can also be powered by a 110 wall outlet. I think this 12 ft cable will work great for my intended use. On another note, do y’all have some type of gadget that I could hook 12 V power to that turned it into a 110 wall outlet???
