Yes, Angela - you can absolutely take your 2025 F-150 through a car wash with the Fas-Top soft tonneau cover # FT26GV installed. Just make sure the cover and tailgate are fully latched and secured before you go in. Fas-Top says it’s fine to take their bed covers and topper shells through the car wash as long as everything’s closed properly.

That said, I’d stick with touch-free washes if you can - spinning brushes or strong side jets can tug at the side seals over time or affect the finish on the sides. After washing, it’s a good idea to check the hook-and-loop seams and wipe the vinyl dry to keep it looking new.

Thanks! I go through the automatic wash almost every week in winter. lots of road salt around here. Will that hurt the cover or the hardware over time?

@Angela those winter washes are actually a good idea for the rest of your truck. The Fas-Top # FT26GV hardware is all aluminum and powder-coated, so it won’t rust from salt exposure. Just rinse the rails occasionally to keep buildup from getting grimed up or freezing around the clamps. The vinyl might dull a bit after a few seasons if it’s hit with harsh detergents, but a coat of protectant every month or so will keep it looking new.
