Jet Ski Trailer Tire Upgrade for Tire Size of 4.80-12

I have a jetski trailer I want to upgrade the tires and wheels. 12 4.80 is the size. Im looking for a nice Wide tire on an aluminum fancy rim. What are my options

Hey Vance, we have the Kenda KR25 Radial Trailer Tire with 12" Aluminum HWT Wheel # AM31208HWT which is the tire size of 145/80-12 on a nicer looking aluminum wheel. This has a 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern so you would need to verify that for me.

This is about an inch wider than what you have now too. Would that be wide enough or were you thinking wider than that?

My wheels have 5 lug bolts on each wheel.

@Vance I attached a link to a page that has all of the aluminum wheel/tire combos we offer with that bolt pattern that are on a 12 inch wheel. About how much wider and taller of a tire are you wanting to go?

Thank you for all of the info! You can safely use a wider tire, but we recommend having 3" - 4" of clearance from the tire to the wheelwell (fender) so that they don't make contact when your suspension moves. I'm not sure what size…

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
