Question:

Which RV Step Motor Conversion Kit should I get for my Kwikee series 28 automatic one step, curved a or curved b? I have a 2005 Winnebago Aspect.

Hey Gerri, the correct motor upgrade kit will depend on the linkage that you have. The linkage identifier (A or B) is embossed on the linkage arm.

If you have the 28A then the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379145 is the correct motor upgrade kit.

If you do not have the 28A, then you would want the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379769. This is only way to determine which you have/need.

@JamesonC I may need to purchase a kit to fix my steps that are not working. Is this everything I will need other than the physical steps and door magnets )or whatever they are called that cause the steps to come down when opening the door). My husband is an electrician and can install.

@Gerri actually both kits come with new magnetic door switches so you wouldn't have to replace those either. So all you'd need is a door to install them on.
