Hello I have a question about product MCL81AB. Is this actual metal or a plastic component painted with chrome decorative finish

Hey Mark. The housing for the Optronics LED Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light item # MCL81AB is ABS plastic.
However, the Optronics Armored LED Clearance and Side Marker Light item # MCL86AB has a die-cast steel housing. It measures 4-1/2" long x 2" wide x 1-1/2" thick and has mounting holes 3-7/8" on center. It's also available in red item # MCL86RB.
