Recommended Highest Capacity Roller Bunks

Updated 11/17/2025 | Published 11/03/2025

Question:

I have a Grady White 208. Total weight approximately 3500lbs. The boat sits on a dual axle Venture trailer with bunks 1. Are there roller bunks available that can support the fully loaded weight of the boat? 2. Are there conversion kits to wobbly roller set up? Thank you

Hey Mark, thanks for the information. The highest capacity roller bunks we have are the 3,000 lbs Boat Trailer Standard Roller Bunks item # DL21755.

The Tie Down Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers item # TD87FR, you were looking at, top out at 1,500 lbs.

The Tie Down Wobble Roller Bunk Assembly for Boats item # TD79FR is going to be our only kit. These don't have a listed capacity because they are just meant to supplement your existing support system not replace it.

Are you just using the standard wooden bunks now?

Yes I have regular bunks with plastic glide type items on top. The bunks are 10 feet long each. Can I put 2 five footers on each? Would that disperse the weight? Thank you

@MarkK Ok, that's what I thought. Yes, you can! In fact that's exactly what you'll need to do. You can use the CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies - Galvanized Steel item # CE10000G-4 to mount the Roller Bunks item # DL21755.
