We tow a 2020 Grand Design Solitude 310GK 15,000 lb GVWR and want a simpler hookup that still rides smooth. Any ideas? will MR39MV work?

Good question, Lyle - and nice setup. Your Solitude 310GK actually uses a Lippert 1621 pin box, not the 1716, so the correct match is the MORryde GooseTech # MR97MV. It’s rated for 14,000–18,000 lbs and bolts directly in place of your existing pin box. The # MR39MV is for the 1726 Lippert pin box which is not a fit for your setup.
The # MR97MV connects right to your gooseneck ball, eliminates the need for that heavy fifth-wheel hitch, and upgrades your towing comfort with a rubber shear-spring that absorbs road shock and “chucking.” It’s a clean, low-maintenance swap that’ll make hitching faster and your bed fully usable again when you’re unhooked.
Since you’re converting to a gooseneck setup, don’t forget to add safety chains # GY49GR - they’re required with the GooseTech system.
