Hello Jean,
Thank you for reaching out! You’re absolutely correct — the Tuson DirecLink Base Model Trailer Brake Controller # 335DL-100 is fully compatible with your Ford E-350 motorhome. If your vehicle is already equipped with a 7-way trailer connector, the necessary wiring for the controller should be located under the dash, making installation straightforward.
If your motorhome does not currently have trailer wiring installed, you’ll need a few additional components to complete the setup. We recommend the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236, along with the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. Together, these parts will provide all the wiring connections needed to ensure your brake controller functions properly.
I have included a diagram that shows how the # ETBC7 kit wires up.
Would you be installing this yourself? Or taking it to a shop?
