The Brake Buddy Classic 3 part # HM39494 will pull power from your Xterra's battery. You will also want to pick up the charge line kit part # RM-156-25 so that you can keep the battery charged when flat towing. We also have the Curt RVi Series towed battery charger part # RVI74FR. What's really cool about this one is that based off the color of the LEDs it will tell you the health or status of your vehicle battery.
