Question:

I’ve heard hybrids are mouse magnets because of all the wiring. Would the MouseBlocker Classic MB44FR work in a 2022 Toyota Prius? I've had mice get into the engine bay of my truck, and I certainly don't want them in the expensive hybrid setup of the prius!

Dave, you’re right - hybrids and EVs can be prime targets because of their quiet engine bays. The Classic # MB44FR is a great choice for a Prius it wires directly to the 12V system yes, even hybrids have a 12V auxiliary battery and uses almost no draw. If you want extra deterrence, the Pro # MB94FR adds flashing LEDs, although this one draws slightly more power so I'd recommend keeping the car on a maintainer or solar charger for this one.

Do you typically store the Prius for long stretches, or is it a daily driver?
