Question:
Can I use mouse blockers on a vehicle I drive every day? I’ve had thousands of dollars of damage from squirrels on my F450. I need something I can mount in the engine bay and leave plugged in every day but still hold up to daily driving

Hey, Tim!
You can absolutely use a MouseBlocker on a truck you drive every day. MouseBlocker offers their classic unit, part #MB44FR, which works well for smaller equipment. While it can be used on your F-450, I think you’d be much happier with their PROx unit, part #MB94FR.
Both units are designed to shut off automatically when they sense movement or when your truck starts. They’ll also turn off if your battery drops below 11v to prevent draining it. That’s typically only a concern if a vehicle sits unused for about 10 days, which doesn’t sound like an issue in your case.
Since it sounds like the mice have settled in pretty comfortably around your home, the PROx would give you better coverage and protect a larger area. MouseBlocker does recommend setting traps when you first install the unit. Once the blocker is running, it will drive the mice out, but it doesn’t always stop them from relocating to another part of your property.
It may not be the most pleasant process at first, as you could catch more mice than expected. However, once a few days go by without any trap activity, it’s safe to say they’ve either all been captured or moved on.
Where do you keep your truck parked overnight?

I installed mine in my boat when I stored it for the winter, so I can't comment on using it in a moving vehicle. I connected my 12v, deep cycle trolling motor batteries in parallel, and after 6 weeks they were both working fine! As for effectiveness, I won't know for sure until I get it ready in 60 days or so...but it seemed to be working well...

I have not deployed my mouse blockers in this manner so can't comment on their durability. My vehicle is stationary.
