Question:
Can you tell me the diameter of the ball on the fr79sr furion windshield suction mounting plate? I have another question also. Will the 7-in monitor work with the system in place that was originally a 5 inch monitor? My monitor and bracket were stolen and if Im going to have to replace them I thought about replacing the screen with the 7 inch. Thank you so much!

Hey Doreen, the diameter of the ball on the Furrion windshield mount part # FR79SR is .85 inch in diameter. This is the same size mount that the 5 inch monitor fits too. The 7 inch replacement monitor is the part # FR47FR which does fit this mount. Sorry about the theft though! Thieves are the worst!

Thanks for the answer and yes, it's not the worst, they are up there on the high end of the scale! Will I be with the 7-in screen pair with the original 5 inch screen setup? I still have the rear-facing camera in addition to the side cameras. Thank you again! ??
