Question:

I have a Dexter axle on a boat trailer I need to replace. The Hub face is 72.5 and the spring center is 60.38. Tube diameter is 1 3/4. Hubs are 5 lug on 4.5 centers. Do you have a replacement with or without hubs?

Hello Edwin, thanks for reaching out. We do have some axles with a 72" hub face like part # e37YR. This has a 1-3/4" tube and 5 on 4-1/2" hubs The spring seats on this axle are at 58" so those would need to be cut off and new ones welded on at 60.38" to match your frame. This axle is 2,000 lb rated.

Do you know the weight rating of the current axle? Or how much the boat and trailer weigh?

Hey Edwin, did you find a replacement axle that worked for your boat trailer? I'm asking because your experience could help others who are trying to replace their trailer axles.
