Heavy Duty Suspension Kit for Replacing Equalizers that are 7-3/4 inches Long

Question:

Can I get some spec help finding the right Dexter Suspension Kit to rebuild my 2-axle car trailer? Its 1-3/4 wide springs, double eyes. The equalizer appears to be the 013-122-02 its the UFP EQ-E1, and the shackle links are 2-5/8 C-C on bolts, 2-7/8 overall, 1/4 thick. I dont find the kits in UFP, and am hoping Dexter makes a comparable kit.

Hey Clint, the Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Kit for Tandem-Axle Trailers # K71-449-00 that you referenced would work really well for you. The equalizers are the same dimensions and the shackle straps are close enough to what you have that they would work just fine as well. They are also heavy duty, thicker shackles like you need as well.
