will the 14055 hitch fit an 2003 E 450 chassis with factory 55 gal fuel tank?

Hey James!
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 14055 will fit your chassis if the bolt holes are 38-5/8 inches from frame to frame (according to our installation notes), and if your fuel tank isn't in-line with the mounting bolt holes that the hitch will use.
I'm not sure where your fuel tank sits exactly, but I'm adding a photo of the hitch installed on a 2003 Ford Van so you can see the area where it will sit.
Does this look like it will work with the spacing you have?
