Can Patriot Adjustable Ball Mount Be Used On 2020 Ram 1500 With Camper And WDH?

Question:

Will this adjustable Patriot work with a weight distribution hitch on my 2020 Ram 1500? not sure if I even need an equalizer hitch or not.

Daryl, the # PH94FR from Patriot Hitches is a heavy-duty adjustable ball mount, but it’s not compatible with weight distribution systems. If you plan to run a WDH, you’ll need a dedicated shank designed for that. But if you’re towing conventionally, this one gives you the flexibility to swap ball sizes and dial in the trailer height, and it works with flat towing if you ever plan to do that.

What size camper are you pulling? That’ll help us see if a WDH is really needed.
