What is Purpose of C Speaker Wires of Jensen RV Stereo JWM62A

Question:

Hello, I am switching from a Jensen AWM910 to a JWM62A. I have a copy of the wiring harnesses and know how to swap them out but what do I connect to the C speakers for the 62A. I’m making the assumption that it is similar to the AWM910 which allowed music to be played inside and outside at the same time but what connects to the C speaker. Thank you!

Hey Julie, the Jensen RV Stereo w/ DVD Player # JWM60A that you have has three zones where it can play music. If you only have a set of inside and outside speakers you don't have to connect the C zone speaker wires. Or if you wanted to add a third zone of speakers now would be the time.

Hey Julie, did you decide to add a third zone of speakers, or did you just connect the inside and outside ones? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others with similar setups.

@JamesonC I did not add a third zone of speakers so I cannot speak on that. I did have trouble on the A speakers but figured it out. We only have a front speaker in our camper. To start with, I connected both the front and rear +. I then connected the front and rear - with my one existing A speaker. But it didn’t work so I had to just connect the front only and keep the rear wires not connected to anything. Now it works perfectly. Thanks for your help!
