Question:
I am very interested in the suspension, I have a 2022 Solitude 390RKR with 7K axles Along with the suspension I would like to install disc brakes. Is there a system that you suggest that would work best with the suspension. Thanks for your time!! Tony

Hello Tony, thanks for reaching out. The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2570 is what you will need for tandem 7K axles. You will also need new U-bolts part # APUBR-8.
As far as converting to disc brakes, we sell conversion kit specifically for this purpose. The DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit w/ Actuator for Tandem Axle Trailers # DE66AR contains everything you will need to convert the 7K axles over to EOH disc brakes. This kit has 1/2" studs so please confirm this is what you have now.
You will also need to make sure the brake controller in your tow vehicle is compatible with EOH brakes. Most aftermarket controllers like the Tekonsha P3 have an EOH mode you can switch to. Some factory brake controllers may not be compatible though.
What truck to you have? Does it have a factory brake controller?

Thank you Jesse!! My truck is a 2018 F 350 DRW 6.7 and it does have a brake controller. I was thinking of doing this in AZ this winter when we get there but may do it sooner. Do I buy this from you directly or do you have dealers all over? Yesterday I broke a leaf spring and was lucky I got to replace it at a truck stop but rather not do that again. We are on the way to northern AL a MN d if possible pick it up or get it delivered to me there. Any idea if there is a military discount or if you all need an on the road rep:) Thanks for your time and have a great day!! Tony
