Question:

I have a 2002 Newmar. I need a new kitchen fan assembly. Its a Fantastic but Id be fine with cheaper. I almost bought a wrong size. Measuring up inside the lift is 4 1/2. Most I see are 3. Whats the cheapest that will fit with a motor?

Hello Daryl,

All of the fans that we carry are designed to fit into the standard 14" by 14" opening.

The most cost effective option we have for a powered fan is the one you were already looking at, the MaxxFan Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Manual Lift - 4 Speed - White # MA00A04301K.

Any fun adventures this year?? Where have you been, or where are you headed?

Thanks. I'll order it later but last time you sent the wrong part. I gave it to the RV place I go to because it was cheap and seemed a hassle to return it. This isn't cheap and if it doesn't have the 4 1/2 inch bottom I need will have to go back. What is your return policy?

@DarylS I am happy to go out to the warehouse and check. Are you referring to the garnish piece? Can you respond directly to the email you receive with a picture of what portion needs to be 4 1/2"? Just so you know, if you receive something that I recommend and it is not the right part we will cover return shipping and issue you a full refund. But, I would rather you not have to go through that hassle, so I will check as soon as I get the picture.

@KateF you are so sweet. I'm not seeing a way to upload a jpg so I'll attach it to the email that notified you answered. So please look for it. I have a degree in computer science. I am very petite and female and 78 and plan to install it myself so I appreciate your help. Your videos were very helpful when I toaded my car.

@Daryl I just emailed you back, looks like we are in luck! The garnish piece is actually 6", but you can cut it to size. Thank you so much for getting that picture to me. I love your spirit Daryl! I hope that when I am 78 I am still climbing up on RV roofs changing out fans myself. Nice to talk to another do it yourselfer female. If you happen to be in Missouri, I would be happy to drive out and give you a hand, and I really mean that =)
