Question:
I have a 1993 RediHaul trailer that I want to convert the brakes from surge to electric. There is no axle information on the trailer. The hubs are 12-2 and are 6 lug. the backing plates have 5 mounting holes and the bolt pattern matches the sketch on the websites, top holes are 3.5 apart, bottom holes are 3 apart, and the very top hole is 3.25 from the bottom holes centerline. Will the 23-458-459 brake kit work on these? I assume that I can reuse my hubs. Thanks for your help.

Hey Eddie, thanks for all of the info you provided on your brake setup. Based on that yes the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Assembly set part # 23-458-459 would be what you would need to convert your drum brakes from hydraulic to electric. You would also want to wire them up with 10 gauge wire like the part # 10-1-1 as well which we sell by the foot.
Do you have a brake controller already as well?

Yes, I have a brake controller built into my truck. I am planning on using the 3802346 Break Away System , is that what you would recommend? Also, I am rewireing the lights and plan to use E99011 7 way upgrade kit. Thanks for your help.
