How Can I Raise My Furrion Side Marker Camera so that the Awning Rail is not Obstructing the View?

Hello, I recently purchased your 4 camera S+ system from ETrailer. I would like to know what you recommend to overcome a side camera obstruction to the field of view. Here are a couple of pictures. What do you recommend for mounting this side camera? Make a standoff to move the camera outboard of the awning support frame? Something else? Thank you in advance for any ideas thoughts recommendations.

Hello Stephen,
I’m not sure why Furrion hasn’t come out with spacers to address this issue yet. One option would be to use something like the Timbren 1/2" Spacer For Raised Frame Vehicles - 1/2" bushing # TA25722-90F00, and then seal it up well with some Alpha Systems 1010 Non-Sag Sealant for RVs Black # AL53KV.
I suggested the Timbren # TA25722-90F00 because the material is designed to hold up against the elements and harsh UV rays. If you end up using another type of spacer, just make sure it’s weather-resistant so it will last long-term.
Hopefully Furrion will come up with a solution for this.

Thank you for this information. Appreciated. I assume that I will need to trim the spacer to match the size of the Furrion right side light and camera combo. Not sure if 4 inches diameter will be big enough. I'll take a look at the parts when I can. Thank you again. -Stephen
