Question:
I’m restoring an early 60’s tent trailer. I’d like the absolute best 8” tire with rim. It’s a 4 bolt 4.80 tire. I don’t want to go cheap, I want the best quality tire/rim combo. Please advise, I’ll need three which includes the spare. I’d also like to see about chrome baby moon hubcaps if they are available. Mike

Hey there Mike!
There are not a lot of options in that specific configuration, but luckily the few options available are among the highest quality and best rated ones out there. The Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C # AM30040 is what I'd recommend going with. It's rated a little higher than the Load Range B that's also available, and it's powder coated white on steel wheels.
This is also available in galvanized steel with part # AM30050. This will hold up a tad better if you're in extreme elements or salty areas, but I do think the first option will suit you just fine and look better on a vintage camper.
As far as baby moon hubcaps go, we unfortunately don't have anything for wheels of that size. You should be able to find some options elsewhere online. Let me know what you think, Mike.
