Difference Between Active and Passive Wiring Kits for a Hyundai Palisade

Question:
It seems as though this hitch combo comes with the passive harness however, theres mention in the description and in the installation instructions of an active harness. What are the pros/cons of the active harness vs passive, and what active harness do you sell that would work with a 22 Palisade? Thanks

Hey Chris!
It looks like the Active kit is for a 2023-2025 Palisade and relies on the vehicle's computer to communicate what to do, while the Passive kit is for a 2020-2022 Palisade and has a module that works independently of the vehicle's computer.
